In today’s world, the master bathroom is the tranquil getaway from everyday life. In order to create this peaceful retreat within this manor home, we completely transformed the master bathroom from the furniture and plumbing all the way down to details and accessories. Our work included adding a fireplace, removing the deck tub in favor of a more sophisticated footed tub, and adding a luxurious marble floor. We chose over-scaled draperies and comfortable accent seating to provide the proper scale and balance of soft items versus the counters, shower, and toilet room. Although this is a spa-like master bathroom, it successfully gives off the atmosphere of a living room.
