Even when designing for a senior couple, Jones Group was able to create zones within this new construction home that are active and suited for the social needs of this family. In working with these clients, we had the opportunity to combine small, intimate spaces within this warm, traditional environment with spaces for large family gatherings. We used interior stone, wood floors, charming fireplaces, and even a gallery wall to create a comfortable environment that wasn’t too passive or stuffy for entertaining. Guest rooms were designed to be comfortable for long family stays, and the lower level of the home became a combination gaming and family room that welcomed visitors while still being livable for every day.
